We wanted to let you know that we'll be closed all day today, Wednesday, September 11. We debated whether or not to stay open, should it be a "normal" day, etc., and no matter how we looked at it, there's nothing normal about today.
To those of you who may have lost friends, acquaintances, or loved ones a year ago, our heartfelt condolences. To those simply affected by the enormous horror that we were all subjected to, we know how you feel.
It seems to us that today is a day not for commerce, but one for remembrance of those no longer with us, and for reflection on how we can all work together to make this a better world.
