I was in Belize in June and dove with amigos del mar. After the first day, They assigned us our own dm who could make 2 hour dives with us. That way , the 1/2 hour divers had their own dm, although they were still probably a little miffed with their longer surface intervals. the point is , go with their flow and talk to the dm's they will usually be pretty accomodating.
