my speargun was a last minute purchase of a custom made 52" teak w/ a 55" 9/32 shaft w/ two 5/8 by 20 bands. I know now that I was under gunned or at least needed a 3rd band. This gun will work great for the kelp beds I hunt around County Line and Deer Creek. I hope to be able to pick up a true blue water gun before I go out to the islands again. It would be great to be able to make one.
