There's more than one way to skin the duck (or was it bear? or horse? or iguana?)

Seriously I would rather get a reg to breathe from than risk ESA from say 80 feet. Especially after couple of dives when I'm significantly loaded with nitrogen.
Bottom line: Even if you did 100 ESAs, it's not 100% proof bailout from every situation. With 100 OOA drills done and proper buddy skills, only double equipment failure will get you dead.
