I dove Pt Dume last week and stayed out until dark and only saw two bugs where as last year I saw maybe 15 on the same dive. Same thing w/ Leo,
it seemed that there were way more bugs in at this time last year. I might try the Ventura break wall on opening night.
I hope the surf backs down and makes it a safe opener if not I will enjoy the extra sleep and live to pick another day ;))
