get over the way they look.... Especially seeing all the... lets just say... the "stuff" that is growing on them. They ARE hard to crack, and you would typically cook them quite a bit longer than lobster (I cook my spiders about 30 minutes each).
As for dungees, I'm not sure, as I have not seen one around here. From my understanding, they are typically found further north.
