Went out on the Westerly, did three dives on S. Catalina. Got a total of 5 bugs: one that was 3.8#, two that were about 2.5#, and two that were about 1.5#. When I checked in at the Dive N'Surf Lobster Mobster contest, the heaviest bug that had been registered was about 7# (that was about 8 AM). Saw lots of shorts during the three night dives I did, but at least 6 folks limited, and nearly everyone got at least one legal. Probabaly had near 100 bugs for a boat of about 30 divers.
Hope all those shorts that the rest of you have been reporting end up in our goodie bags a few years down the line.
