there are obviously way too many seals in the pacific. this problem affects the livelyhood of many a fisherman. it also raises the price of fish that the consumer pays. shooting seals with real bullits used to be common practice and helped to control the numbers of seals. after the federal protection agency the seals have come back so strong that they are making a very negetive impact on the fish population. i think that the dfg should allow hunting of seals. i bet that they can be quite tasty and if not we could sell them to alaska to help feed the needy up there. seal burgers actualy sound pretty good ;)
