Remember I used this particular case of omitted deco. From IANTD Tech Deco manual. Naui recommends not using in water rcompression for non military operations. Instead staying at surface resting, breathing O2, fluids non carb and evaluating. Here is what I did not say but it should be self evident if you suspect DCS you should seek treatment. I say back on the boat because there are some instances where you may want to return to your stop if you have lets say just surfaced. Obvious this would not apply to sport diving. What I guess this comes down to is you have the right to do what you feel is best as long as you are conscious and alert.
