Uggg.... I hate having a concience, especially one that takes good pictures. That one is very cute.
As a diver, I think sea lions are interesting and often cute, especially the one year olds that I call butterballs.
I'm glad they allow us in the water.
In this case I was responding as a fisherman, since that was what the post was about and I was being accurate. I've been there. I've seen what goes on.
Normally I keep my more critical opinions to myself, but between the lack of knowledge displayed by the original author and my ongoing infuriation at peoples lack of real knowledge of the ecology and the subsequent stupidities and dumb laws done in the name of environmentalism, sometimes I vent.
Well, put it this way. I wouldn't be surprised to see humans go extinct, but I figure sea lions have a better chance.
