With people still bragging about taking the essential breeders??? Those lobsters over 5-6lbs are the most important breeders in the population. The bigger the lobster, the more important that individual is to the gene pool. It has gotten to the point where every big individual has become an important asset to the overall population of lobsters.
You can't continue to systematically remove the most successful members of ANY population and expect that population to flourish....
