I would have expected a full face mask to be used, as they do in the remote places way west of here. That way if there is any uh, er, "problem" the drowning risk is greatly reduced while the safety divers/tenders remove the afflicted diver from the water.

Just like having surface 02 available, I would have expected that a FFM would have been a standard piece of safety equipment to have along if there was any contemplation of IWR as an option.

Of course with enough stuff bring dragged along, you could almost do a full Table 6 IWR! Just kidding -- I am not suggesting that!
