I don't want to start a war here, but perhaps some people don't know the importance of the big bugs in the ecosystem. The big ones (8lbs or more) breed exponentially more than the smaller ones. A big bug is a great catch and a noble prize, but for the sake of yourself, and future hunters throw them back! Take a picture or 2 to remember your catch, then let them go so we can another succesfull breeder out there. It will pay off for us all in the long run. On the East coast, they have a minimum and a maximum size limit you can take, hopefully soon the west coast can smarten up!

Please be courteous to all other divers.

Jim Jennings
