Thanks for the URL. If I read this right, recreational lobster take is okay in the Point Fermin, Newport Beach, Irvine Coast, Laguna Beach, South Laguna Beach, Niguel and Dana Point marine life refuges, as well as in the Abalone Cove (Palos Verdes) Ecological Reserve. But under Crystal Cove State Park, lobster isn't on the list of recreational invertebrates permitted. I called back F&G but didn't hear from a local warden yet. I'll probably play it safe this weekend and go somewhere I'm sure is okay.
