I looked at the DFG link and it showed that you can take lobster from Dana Point and Heisler--this is NOT the case.
In DP, I know that the sign as you enter the beach is very specific about the area being a no take zone. (BTW, about a month ago I saw the OC Sheriffs take a guy away in handcuffs for fishing without a license on the breakwater that marks the southern boundary of the Dana Point Marine Life Refuge).
