I too have always thought that PV was a much better place to dive than Catalina, however it is difficult to get people to believe that.
When Tim on the Great Escape runs trips to PV, hardly anyone signs up.
At PV the fish are bigger, the life is more abundant, and gray whales come by.
It is an incredibly cool place to dive.
However, the private boaters, who have it to themselves, probably don't really want the word to get out.
