I almost never get to see one unless I'm at the AOP....

To answer your question, no they're not dangerous....unless you've got a bucket full fish in the Blue Cavern exhibit at the AOP. Leopard Sharks have tiny, closely packed teeth that form plates instead of individual teeth and they can act like the hooks on velcro if they come in contact with neoprene. The worst I've ever experienced (at the height of a feeding frenzy, mind you) is I had one "velco" onto one of my gloves and do a pretty spectacular "death spiral" for the audience. More annoying than frightening. So next time you see a leopard shark, remember that they're harmless, take some time, and enjoy the show!
