I like what Joe below in this thread said "watch what happens to the other reef's not protected."
All DFG has done here is create a shell game to take peoples attention off what the real problems are - Competency of an agency -DFG!
Let's protect this area and say we are doing something, without addressing other pertainent issues and maybe we can make retirement before everyone starts questioning why the reserves aren't spilling over and populating the rest of the channel islands.
So here's the real challenge - now that we know what is really going on
A - how we we get the reserve activists to understand the real issues and more importantly
B - how do we change it??
Two really tough questions, neither of which I have answers for.
