The problem is Gov. Davis.
He appointed 4 of the 5 DFG commissioners. None have a background in fisheries or wildlife management,and 2 of these are environmental activists.
One is Bob Hattoy. He worked for the Sierra Club from 81-92. He is a strong advocate of closing natural resourses to the general public.
What is Davis doing. The DFG run by environmentalists who in the long run want to stop hunting and fishing.
Shorter seasons, smaller limits and get the commercial guys out would improve it without closing it to all.
Vote Davis OUT!
