Your actions are to be commended, your thoughts were very well reasoned and I believe you made the right choices.
I don't like to get involved in the competition between certification agencies, but I am once again glad I choose a different agency for competent technical training.
The Benjamin Franklin quote is one I hurl regularly at airport screeners as the search my shoes but not my ass. Until such time they do body cavity searches, especially of Middle Eastern homosexual men who are alleged to be able to secret a bewildering quantity of SemTex in their expansive rectums, it is all an excercise in futility. I have even seen them searching little 7 year old caucasian girls since they clearly fit the profile.
Next time I am in the area, I will stop buy, shake your hand and buy something.
