Reef Seekers Dive Co.
Beverly Hills, CA
--------------------------
Dear Valued Oceanic Customer,

Our records indicate that you previously purchased an Oceanic CDX model first stage regulator with either an Alpha 7, Delta 3, Gamma 2, or Zeta primary second stage.

Oceanic has received reports of noise or vibration accompanied by air leakage out through the ambient chamber. No injuries have been reported.

In cooperation with the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Oceanic has initiated a voluntary recall of all CDX first stage regulators with serial numbers ranging from 9200001 to 9205622, 0200001 to 0213294, 9D0001 to 9D3273, and 0D0001 to 0D3046. The recall does not apply to CDX5 model first stages.

Requested is that you discontinue further use of your CDX regulator and take it to any Authorized Oceanic Dealer for a Retrofit that consists of replacing one component part and the addition of another.
Should you have any questions, please contact our toll free CDX Recall Help line at (866) 723-2642 or locally at (510) 562-1535 between 8 am and 5 PM Monday through Friday Pacific Time.

For more information or to locate the Authorized Oceanic Dealer closest to you, visit our web site at www.OceanicWorldWide.com and click on CDX FIRST STAGE SAFETY RECALL.

If you no longer own the CDX regulator, please forward this email to the new owner or have them contact us.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,
Oceanic USA
