Excellent report!
Oh man, now I'm REALLY jealous!
You know how it is, you always want what you ain't got.
We went up to Ft. Bragg Saturday and the ocean was really snotty.
We had intentions of going 12 miles south to Colby but the wind was starting to howl and the seas were getting big. We made it as far as Caspar and found a cove that was somewhat protected from the south swell. When we decsended the vis dropped to near zero and all we found was vacant sand. That dive lasted all of about 15 minutes and when we came up it was raining. We said forget it on the idea on another dive. On the trip back to the harbor the rain was hitting me in the face hard and stinging. We changed back into our clothes in the parking lot and of course got soaked in the process.
Welcome to the North Coast in the winter.
If this keeps up I won't even be able to get out one more time for some snails before it closes
So yeah, Right now I wish I could dive down there!
