Thanks for the info msblucow. I guess its safe enough. We'll be staying at a hotel initially and then take a dive on the last morning of our stay so I guess we could leave most of our stuff in the hotel and just bring the dive bag with us to Casino Point.
Catalina.Com does have a lot of information - including hotels and package deals for divers. This is low season so its cheaper, and if you can stay mid-week its even cheaper!
