Onother Wednesday trip on the Peace to Talcott Shoals. Seems that this trip is getting lighter all the time only 15 hardy souls braved the totally flat seas, sunny skies and superb diving to be had there.
Started out deep on the outside, 80+, visibility was at least 40' and the temp on the bottom a comfortable 57. The bugs were scattered but some came up every dive. The second dive on Talcott proper again produced the bugs and you could see the boat from the bottom at 50'. Brockaway was next, here the vis was 15' but produced good bugs in shallow. The last dive in a ripping current at Carrington Pt. produced the most bugs, nothing large but good numbers.
Lunch and dessert was served on the ride backm, on totally flat seas.
Next Wednesday will be the last trip of the year to Talcott, so far it's shaping up to be another light load, the reserves will be in effect so Carrington will be off limits.
The crew as usual was cheerful and super helpful....
