There are a lot of things that ar the primary limiters of populations, some of them quie subtle like parasites, diseases and complex energy equations.
Wouldn't it be weird though if it turned out that all those blue sharks that we used to see in the kelp beds, are actually natural perdators of lobster area sea otters. ...
