My buddy found a broken plate off the sunken pier in Redondo right after the big swells swept through. It has a blue circle with an emblem on it. What was the name of the shipping line that used to frequent that area when the pier was in actual use? I know a lot of the old divers used to search that area after big winter storms looking for those plates and other artifacts. Does anyone remember any of that info anymore?
