Whether you get them or not, you should have a blast. Actually, sometimes thay are relitively easy to get. Sometimes not. Where you are going, they shouldn't be as hard to grab as a lot of places.
Be prepared for cold topside. A WarmWind type coat might be nice. Water should be fairly cold as well. 52 degrees would not be a surprise. Conditions can be great that time of year. Get lucky and you could see some amazing vis well over 100 feet.
If you get really lucky and find a big bug and you are really careless, you may wonder about how you're gonna handle it, but I wouldn't worry about them winning the round. ... Uh. Don't let a large one get ahold of your regulator or mask.
Ya know a 4 or 5 pounder will put up one really good struggle when grabbed. They can be about as hard as a mad cat to hang onto.
