Diving with a newbie can be fun, if that is what you want to do on that dive. I also enjoy introducing non-locals and newbies to our local diving. What I would dislike is having a boat assign a newbie airpig to me on a dive where I wanted to get my money's worth.
But if the boat's workign DM asked me to do it, I would. I really believe in coperating with the crew. If I hae a differing opinion, I will discreetly express it, but I will always defer to the crew's decisions.
