Nice try but regrowing an lost appendage isn't even close to multiplying a species from tiny pieces of smashed urchin. Keep trying though, because it would be nice to clear up this folklore one way or the other. It's easy to see how bogus information can spread into a false fact and next thing you know a docent somewhere may start parroting it.
