Thanks for the reply. Am I the only one who feels this policy is wrong? BSB are making a come back and they have potential for lots of offspring which down the road could lead to abundancies and an enormous source of protein. The commercial fishermen may land more and more of these as time goes by. The Bass is already dead and throwing the excess ones back seems extremely wasteful and ethically wrong because of all the starving people in Africa and elsewhere. At the very least the fish should be donated to help hunger relief efforts wherever they may be. We can go to great lengths to stamp out terrorism, we should stamp out hunger. Who made this decision to throw the BSB back and what is their logic behind that decision???
