For most divers, the main benefit of Nitrox is
extended bottom time and added safety in the 60-100
foot range. Relative to a simple air dive, your
proposal gets no added bottom time without doing
deco, and little added safety because you are only
breathing the Nitrox 36 for a small portion of the
dive.
Why would you do this?
