Interesting point, but why not? There is nothing wrong with children being interested in diving. A lot of their parents dive. Also, this site has a lot about California Diving and Coastal REsources that a child might want information about.
Also, with Paulette's and Kathy's galleries, my essays and the weather links, this board offers a lot of other resources that a child could find useful and not find elsewhere. There should also be some new galleries soon. It is a unique resourse that Chris has chosen to keep available to all.
Really, avoidance of profanity is not difficult and profanity isn't needed to communicate. There are a lot of close alternatives to emphasize your point. Besides, using a little creative artistry, rather than over used profanity can be fun and far more annoying.
