great to see this post. i was just at redondo saturday evening and was commenting to myself how awkward i felt at 75 ft. i do frequent shore dives and i have no problem doing surf entries. kelp and surge are manageable, hikes with full gear, and underwater navigation are not a problem. however going deep was different. neoprene compression, leaky mask, bouyancy control, air management, keeping track of buddy (I was leading), remember to do safety stop at various levels and still make sure to remember what heading to take to return was challenging. i do not wish to be a tech diver nor do i want to take a specialty class. so were can a diver go to practice more deep dive skills or should i stay shallow. i have a master diver cert but even then i have very little deep dive experience. what are my options to get more experience?
