To answer your question most agencies define a recreational deep dive as any dive below 60 fsw to a maximum depth of 130 fsw. Remember these are guidelines that have been in place for years. Deep is relevant to the diver. What you think is deep and what I think is deep may be vastly differ. The question is not the depth, but have you prepared yourself for all the risks that depth poses. The only way to understand all the risks and to be prepared is to learn in a structured environment.
