60-65 DEGREES, i WOULD TAKE A BOAT TO AVALONA ND DIVE CASINO POINT, YOU CAN PROBABLY DO two dives there, there are some wrecks , its a reserve, and really a beautify entry level dive.
Laguna beach is also a nice diving location, if you wish not to go to catalina. This is an area where most shops take their students to certify them.
