During an informal competition last year, the team I normally dive with (Sierra Smoke Eaters) was training with a group from the Bay Area Bucket Divers.
They came up missing 2 jumpers at the end of the day, but as it turned out, the guys showed up a couple days later. The jumpers had spotted an outdoor fermenting vat at a nearby winery & landed in it instead of the nearby brush fire.
