DFG is proposing closing all night diving activities at SBI and Anacapa between Feb 1 and July 15 of each year. Now I understand that the squid boats with their extremely bright lights are a problem, but I am not convinced that night dive activities would be.
It seems to me that the bird lover's who are lobbying for this are going a bit overboard with their demands.
