Hey Mike, Rich here the guy that sent you thte Dr death video. I started out as a freediver with a buddy of mine who had been freediving for a couple years before I got hooked. Scuba diving came about out of lobster season and a need to access deeper holes.{yet I still do about just the same numbers freediving for the little buggers} I think the main reason I stayed in the water is because of the adventure and exploration of it all. I hav'nt really been to any warm water locations {mostly local So. cal stuff} but allways seem to find something new and exiciting to look at of shoot{both spear and camera} and yes I too have logged many solo dives. I think that if you are the adventerous type you can't help to keep going because it's in your blood. My diving has tapered off a bit lately due to work, and not having a boat at the moment but I will allways be a diver.

Have fun,
Rich
