I have the name down in my logbook as the C-53. I seem to remember someone saying that it was a Canadian military vessel that was donated to Coz for an artificial reef. It's really clean and has a line all the way through it. It also has a lot of cut-outs providing light for most of the passage through the ship.
The sinking and stabilization in the upright position is impressive! There are fins welded along the bottom to give it a larger base and there are big cables running off to some sort of anchors from the bow.
