the kelp at the point, and blue caverns is very healthy (despite the number of divers at the point). if the urchins were in such great numbers to pose a threat to the Macrocystis pyrifera, i believe that the catalina concervancy divers would most likely ask for permission to relocate some of the urchins based on population per quadrat. is this correct dr. bill?
