Yes ... it seems to me that ScubaPro quality has declined a bit in recent years.
It seems they have moved to "cheapen" the components to reduce cost.
I find I prefer older Scubapro gear in good condition to newer models/
For example older ScubaPro metal buckles have sloid metal bars on the pivots, the new ones have rater flimset rivets.
