The winds on the entire inner and outer waters have been at or near gale force since sunup.
It's a good wind though, lots of places to hide from this one. It's that southerly wind at the onset of this event that is difficult to deal with. This weather would be easy to sit out at Catalina or San Clemente, but not at Nic or SBI. Pyramid Cove would be fascinating tonight!
This is the first substantial gale of the season, last year this one turned the water peasoup for two weeks!
