I am fairly new to the sport of diving, and now that Lobster season is closed, I went out and bought myself a speargun. I'm going to the north side of Santa Cruz Island on Sunday, and I'm wondering if anyone has any hints on catching butts.
I have only seen them shore diving, and that is when I spook one when it's really close to me and it probably scares the $hit out of us both. What's the best way to spot them, and then shoot them without just injuring them.
I would appreciate any replies, Thanx!
