Unfortunately I have to agree with you Randy. Unless students move on to nitrox or other mixed-gas instruction, working with tables is merely an incidental speed-bump on the way to an OW c-card. Who wouldn't rather strap a thingy on their wrist that beeps and lights up if they're doing something wrong. Of course then there's the question "What if the battery fails?" or "What if it(the thingy)malfunctions?" Well I guess you either vapor-lock or punch-out(Victory at Sea style). Maybe "some ppl" need to be reminded of how easily you can get hurt while diving, and concentrate less on convenience. Damn! Here I go again...
