I DM, as well as instruct, for Sport Chalet in La county and many of the DM’s I work with are very professional and courteous. You do get some that should be removed from this position, I won’t disagree with that. If you encounter one that needs to be removed call HQ and they’ll get rid of them or at the very least coach them. Why bash all DM’s when it’s not necessary or right? I also I have to say it’s very unprofessional of you as a “Captain” to bash anyone or any group just because you didn’t have the gumption to confront the individual you had an issue with personally. Show some maturity and professionalism by taking the individual aside and letting them now what you think in private rather than give the impression that ALL DM’s are worthless. Lastly, if you feel the DM’s need briefing as to what their jobs entail or don’t entail, do so rather than get all frustrated when things go wrong.
