The Chamber Challenge continues to inch along and now, due to the generosity of those listed below, has passed $12,000!!!

But we must quite candidly tell you that we're a bit concerned about where the Challenge will end up. Last year, we hit the $12K mark on April 10. This year, it's taken us almost three weeks longer to get to that same level.

We certainly understand that with the economy and the war in Iraq, your attention may have been diverted. But this is OUR Chamber we're talking about and it's certainly not too late to make a donation and give the Challenge a good finish.

So we hope you'll think about how much you and your friends dive in SoCal, and think about what your options would be if there was NOT a Catalina Chamber standing by 24/7/365. And then we hope you'll either call us (310/652-4990) or go to the secure server on our website (link below) and make a donation of whatever you can afford. Although we suggest a $100 (Bronze level) donation, anything is welcome. And if you've been having a good year, perhaps you'll consider a $500 (Silver) or even $1000 (Gold) level contribution.

The Challenge, and Chamber Day & Evening, work best when the SoCal diving community bands together to help keep everything going. This is truly an ecumenical effort involving many boats, stores, clubs, manufacturers, and individuals. There's no one single person or entity more crucial than another. We thank you for your support.
