The may meeting of the San Diego Council of Divers is Tuesday night May 13th. Andrew Georgitsis will be the speaker and he will be talking about the Britannic expedition. Specifically, he will relate how using DIR procedures made the expedition possible and safe. If you have not heard Andrew speak about the Britannic project before you’re missing a great presentation. He has a LOT of video footage that was not shown on the television special, as well as an exciting multi-media presentation, and, since he was one of the leaders of the expedition a lot of behind the scenes information. This is truly a great opportunity to see what went into the making of the television special and the planning and accomplishing the dives to the Britannic, and a great presentation on the application of DIR.
Plus the food and beer at Rock Bottom in La Jolla are not bad either. Hope to see you there.
