If they speared and froze it, they'd have no reason to go to a sushi bar. Assuming that they were halfway capable with their spearguns, there'd be very little bycatch. I'd assume the commercial operations supplying the sushi bars would produce mountains of bycatch. The big problem with them spearing is that they'd be on the same boats and in the same water as myself, taking up valuable space and scaring off the prey, hence my preference that they stay in their air conditioned sushi bars.
