If you look at the NAUI insurance FAQ it says:
Will other brands of insurance cover me when I teach NAUI Courses? Based on recent experience, probably not.
What happens if I purchase a brand of insurance that isn't considered similar to that which NAUI sponsors? You will not be eligible for active status...
To maitian active status as a DM I must have insurance, but they will not accept any insurance but theirs.
