It just so happens that there are some limited spots
open for the three day liveboard trip on the GE to the
outter islands. Not sure for certain which spots we
will be diving, but these extended trips usually offer
the best chance for the more remote sites and better
conditions since our travel and dive time tables are
much more flexible. The plan is to dive the islands of
Santa Barbara and San Clemente.

Locations like SBI and Clem's backsides are some of
the best sites that this trip offers. Of course it all
depends on the conditions and potential millitary
restrictions (Clemente was shut down this past weekend,
but should be re-opened by then).

Of course Bill-N-Da-Galley will have some culinary
suprises for us, so plan on gaining weight - or not.

As most of us have been witnessing these past weeks, the
conditions continue to improve. The weekend of the 4th
should be a great one for diving. So no matter where
you plan to dive that weekend, things should be great,
but even better "out there". Recently diver's have been
seeing seals, giant black sea bass, seals, mola molas,
seals, dorado (yes, dorado!), seals, yellowtail, seals,
and the ever-elusive-to-scuba-divers-lately white sea bass.
Some seals have been reported here and there too.

If you want more information on the trip, click on over
to www.diveboat.com and select the "Calendar of Dive
Trips" link near the top right of the page.

If you don't decide to join us, we hope you and your
family get in the water that weekend somewhere and
enjoy yourself. This will be a weekend for family time
and patriotic pride, so participate well... we will.

-Terry
